Big Box Fire and Smoke Restoration in St. Lucie West

This large retail store in St. Lucie West experienced vandalism by fire. The trash in the restroom was lit, and the sooty deposits are visible, as shown in the Before Photo. Of equal concern for our SERVPRO fire and smoke damage technicians, FSRT was to eliminate the offensive odors and prevent their circulation into the store's retail floor. We can use special chemical sponges, cloths, and detergents to wipe down and remove the residues. Since there was no structural damage, we immediately focused on neutralizing the malodors caused by the fire. We blocked the restroom from the HVAC system to prevent airborne particles from infiltrating the unaffected areas as we set up a fogging and air scrubbing to restore the indoor air quality to prescribed levels. Within hours, the restroom was again open to the public.
