Port St. Lucie Kitchen Water Flooding
The supply line to the sink ruptured and flooded the tiled kitchen floor and several other rooms with a large quantity of water. Unfortunately, this occurred during a week when the residents were out of state. SERVPRO worked to remove the standing water and set up many air movers and dehumidifiers to salvage the flooring and some of the cabinets. It is crucial to remove standing water quickly on floors to prevent absorption and degradation of building materials and assemblies. The After Photo illustrates the forced removal of the tiled floor though we did rescue the base cabinets from the junk heap. We try to restore and not replace materials after a damaging water event. But we do what is best for our customers.
